A brick measures 30 cm x 10 cm x 7.5 cm. How many bricks will be required for a wall of 30 m long, 2 m high and 3/4 m thick? ​

Lets calculate the volume of the wall first,

The volume of the wall=(3000*200*3/4)cm^3

                                      =(3000*200*75)cm^3

                                      =45000000cm^3

Now the volume of one brick is to be calculated which is

                                                 =(30*10*7.5)cm^3

                                                 =2250cm^3

Hence the number of brick required is= (Volume of the wall/Volume of one brick)which is

                      = 45000000/2250

                      =20,000

Hence; 20,000 bricks are required.
