Given:
The weight of brick m=20 N
The dimensions are given length L= 25 cm= 0.25 m
The breadth B= 10 cm=0.10 m
The height H=5 cm=0.05 m
To find:
The pressure on each side
Solution:
The formula of pressure
P=F/A
For first side
P= 20×10/0.25×0.10
P=800 N/m²
For the second side
P= 20×10/0.10×0.05
P=4000 N/m²
For the third side
P=20×10/0.25×0.05
P=1600 N/m²
So the value of each side be 800,4000,1600 N/m²
