A brick weight 11/5 kg . A stone is 11/10 kg lighter than the brick . Find the weight of the stone

Answer:

Let the weight of the brick = 2x

The weight of the brick (2x) = 1kg + 2x/2

=> 2x = 1 + x

=> 2x - x = 1

=> x = 1

Hence weight of the brick is 2x = 2 . 1 = 2
