we have , Length of Bridge (Distance of bridge)= 500m & Speed of Train = 30m/s
therefore, Time taken = Distance/Speed
= 500m/30s
= 16.67 sec (Time taken)
therefore, Time taken = Distance/Speed
= 500m/30s
= 16.67 sec (Time taken)

Total distance required for the train to cross the bridge is,
d = (100 + 500) m = 600 m
Hence the time taken to cross the bridge is,
t = 600 / 30 = 20 s.
