POEM ON SOCIAL ISSUE-
A young child smiles. Observing her mother, With amused eyes, So pure, so youthful She has the entire world at her disposal. A young girl chuckles. On my own in a deserted playground, she closed eyelids, pigtails fluttering in the breeze, with no regard, she has the entire world at her disposal. A young woman sobs. Walking cautiously up to the cliff's edge, she can choose, Irreversible, she won't, though, because She has the entire world at her disposal. A woman of middle age reads, To a class full of attentive faces, she saw his expectant gaze. She gets ready to share with everyone. Knowledge is the greatest power, she has the entire world at her disposal. Speaking is a granny. She shares her tale. Anyone who wants to hear, having lived She has lived countless lifetimes and has known them all. All these women, their power, their ideas, their experiences, the world is hers to take. attempts to lessen them, to less than their value, but fall short, because they have always had the world to themselves and always will.
- People who are marginalized are those who are viewed as less relevant, less important, or as having a lesser status. They are referred regarded as untouchables by some segments of Indian society. People who are marginalized are treated in this way for a variety of reasons. They are treated in this manner, in part because those in positions of power consider their contributions to society to be unimportant.
- The Indian constitution recognizes socially outcast communities based on caste. We can observe marginalization on the grounds of sex, disability, and caste in India.
