A bucket can hold 20 litres of water, while a jug can hold 500 ml of water. If we pour 33 jugs of water in it, how much more water can the bucket hold?

capacity of bucket = 20l x 1000

                               = 20000ml

2) no. of jugs filled with water required= capacity of bucket / capacity of jug

                                                               = 20000/500

                                                               = 40 jugs of water required.

3)No. of jugs needed more =total  no. jugs of water required- no. of jugs given

                                             =40-33

                                             =7 more jugs are required

4) amount of water bucket can still hold= required jugs x capacity of jug

                                                                  =7x500

                                                                  = 3500ml or 3.5l
