A bucket has top and bottom diameters of 40 cm and 20 cm respectively. Find the volume of the bucket if it's depth is 12 cm. Also find the area of tin sheet used to make the bucket​

Volume of bucket = 1 /3  π Height  (R^2 top  +R  top  R  bottom  +R^2 bottom  )

= 1 /3 π×12(20^2  +20×10+10^2)

=8800cm  ^3

Slant height,  l=\sqrt{(20-10)^2 +12^2}  =15.62cm

T.S.A =π(R top +R bottom )l+π(R^2 top  +R^2bottom )

=3044.171cm^2  

Cost=120×30.44171=Rs.3653
