A bucket is in the form of a frustum of a cone and holds 28.490 liter water .The radii of the top and bottom are 28cm and 21 cm respectively .Find the height of the bucket.​

Given : Volume =28.490 litres =28490cm3

Radius of the top of cone =r1=28 cm.

Radius of the bottom of cone =r2=21 cm.

Find : The height of the bucket.

Volume of frustrum =31π(r12+r22+r1×r2)h

∴28490=31×722×(282+212+28×21)×h

∴28490=2122×(784+441+588)×h

∴h=22×181328490×21=15 cm.

∴ height of the bucket =15 cm.
