a bucket made of plastic does not rust like a bucket made iron . why?

The reason is due to their chemical composition. The bucket is made of plastic which doesn't reacts with the oxygen and humidity present in air while the iron reacts with the oxygen and humidity of air and corrodes to form iron oxide also known as rust. Hope u got it.

A bucket is made up of plastic which doesn't react with moisture and water and thus rusting doesn't occurs.
