Near about 499.999 as 60÷1.8=33.33 15 ×33.33 gives 499.99

Height of building(H1) = 15m = 15x10²cm
Length of shadow(S1) = 1.8m = 1.8x10²cm
Shadow of the pole (S2) = 60 cm
Height of the pole=?
H1/S1 =H2/S2
15x10²/1.8x10² = H2/60
Cross multiply
H2 = 500 cm
Length of shadow(S1) = 1.8m = 1.8x10²cm
Shadow of the pole (S2) = 60 cm
Height of the pole=?
H1/S1 =H2/S2
15x10²/1.8x10² = H2/60

H2 = 500 cm
