A building is made keeping the lower window of the building at a height of 2m above the ground and its upper window 6m vertically above the lower window in view to have proper sunlight. At a certain instant ,the angles of elevation of a baloon frim tgese windows are observed to be 60° and 30° respectively.Find the height of the balloon from the ground. What values are depicted if the buulding owner in a view to use proper sunlight by maintaining the level of height of the window in building.

According to question
balloon makes angle 30 degree with the lower window
Thus in triangle ABC
tan 30 deg = AC/BC
1/root3 = AC/BC = AE +EC/BC
        1/root3 = AE+6/BC
           BC = (AE+6)root3

Now similarly
Balloon makes angle 60 deg with the upper window
Thus in triangle ADE

tan 60 deg = AE/DE
root 3 = AE/DE
Thus AE = DE root 3
also DE = BC
So

       AE = BC root 3
Thus

BC = (BC root3 + 6)root3
      = 3BC + 6 root 3
Thus
BC = 3root3
 So           AE = 9
So height of balloon from ground
  = 9+6+2 = 17 m
