A building of 50 floors. Every floor of the building is 6 m high. If its elevator

moves 3 m per second, then how long will it take to move from the 2nd

floor to the 42nd floor?​

From 2nd floor to 42nd floor, it moves 40 floors

the distance the lift has to travel will be no of floors * height of each floor i.e. 40*6=240 m

Speed= Distance/ Time

3m/s=240m/t

t=240m/3m/s

t=80 s
