a bulb emits light of wavelengths 4500Å . the bulb is rated as 150 watt and 8% of the energy is emiitted as light. how many photons are emitted per second ?​

Answer:

E = power * time

150W = 150Js^-1

E = 8/100*50

= 12J

E = nhv

v=c/lambda

so by putting values we will get

=

 \frac{12 \times 4500 \times  {10}^{ - 10} }{6.6.26 \times  {10}^{ - 3}  \times  {10}^{8} }

= 2.717 * 10^19
