Given:-

  • Resistance of Bulb ,R = 10Ω

  • Current ,I = 12 A

To Find:-

  • Voltage ,V

Solution:-

By using Ohm's Law

•V = IR

Substitute the value we get

→ V = 10×12

→ V = 120v

Therefore, the voltage across the bulb is 120 volts.

Additional Information!!

• The Ohm's Law state that the potential difference across the end of a metallic wire in an electric current is directly proportional to the current flowing through it .

Mathematical term

• V = IR

Here

V is the potential difference

I is the electric current

R is the resistance .

v =R×I

R = 10

I = 12

v = 10×12

V=120
