Explanation:

p = w/t

also I x V

I = 4 A

at 12 v,

we can use the formula VIT

so 12x4x60 ig??

2880 J

ismilarly for 6V

sorry I is 2A for 6 V bc 6 V = half of 12V makes sense?

so the answer is 2 x 6x60 so is 720 J

if this is correct then I can get god marks in today's test lol

One of the formulas for power is

P=V²/R

Therefore we can find the bulb's resistance using

R = V²/P = (12V)² / 48W= 3 Ω

If we use 6 V instead, the power consumption is

P' = (6V)² /3Ω =12W= 12 J/8

In one minute, the energy consumed is

12 J/8 . 60s=720J
