Since the ground is level, we can use the range equation to determine the angle of inclination.

Range = v^2/g * sin 2θ

1000 = 140^2/9.8 * sin 2 θ

sin 2 θ = 1000 * 9.8 ÷ 140^2 = 9800 ÷ 19,600 = 0.5

2 θ = 30˚

θ = 15˚

Answer:

Explanation:

Since the ground is level, we can use the range equation to determine the angle of inclination.

Range = v^2/g * sin 2θ

1000 = 140^2/9.8 * sin 2 θ

sin 2 θ = 1000 * 9.8 ÷ 140^2 = 9800 ÷ 19,600 = 0.5

2 θ = 30˚

θ = 15˚
