distance between Varun and the point where a bullet is fired , d = 2km = 2000m

Varun hear the sound after 10 second.

so, speed of sound = distance between Varun and point where a bullet is fired/ time taken by sound to reach Varun

= 2000m/10sec = 200 m/s

hence, the speed of sound will be 200 m/s
