Given:

A bullet is fired in a horizontal direction with a muzzle velocity 300m/s.

To find:

Height dropped after travelling 150 m distance.

Calculation:

Let time taken to travel 150 m be t ;

x = v \times t

 =  > 300 = 150 \times t

 =  >  t = 2 \: sec

So, height dropped be h ;

 \therefore \: h =  u_{y}t +  \dfrac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

 =  >  \: h =  (0 \times t )+  \dfrac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

 =  >  \: h =   \dfrac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

 =  >  \: h =   \dfrac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times  {(2)}^{2}

 =  >  \: h =  5 \times  {(2)}^{2}

 =  >  \: h =  5 \times  4

 =  >  \: h = 20 \: m

So , final answer is:

 \boxed{ \sf{ \large{ \: height \: dropped = 20 \: m}}}
