hii :)
_____________________________________________________________
Here
Initial velocity of bulllet (u) =50 m/s
Final velocity of the bullet (v)= 0 m/s
Distance(s)=10 cm or 0.1 m
Retardation/accleration (a)=?
Using equation v²=u²+2as
0²=50²+2×a×0.1
0²=2500+0.2a
-2a=2500
10
- 2a=25000
-a=12500
Thus a= -12500 m /s²
Hence the retardation produced in bullet is 12500 m/s²
