angle of inclination is 45° and maximum range is 50m

we know, Range = u²sin2θ/g

where u is initial velocity of projectile, θ is angle made by projectile with horizontal and g is acceleration due to gravity.

horizontal range will be maximum when sin2θ = 1 = sin90°

⇒θ = 45°

now maximum range = u²sin2(45°)/g = u²/g

= (50)²/10 = 500/10

= 50 m

hence maximum range is 50m
