Answer:

According to conservation of momentum

m1v1 = m2v2

m1 = m2v2 / v1

m1 = (2.5 * 1) / 100

m1 = 0.025kg

m1 = 25g

Mass of bullet is 25g

HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU !!!

To Find :

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀↝ Mass of the bullet.

Solution :

⠀⠀⠀↝mass of rifle = 2.5 kg

⠀⠀⠀↝ velocity of rifle = 1m/s

⠀⠀⠀↝ velocity of bullet = 100m/s

According To conservation of momentum :

❍ Momentum of rifle = Momentum of bullet

 \longrightarrow \sf \:m_1 \times 100 = 2.5 \times 1 \\  \\ \longrightarrow \sf \:100m_1 = 2.5 \\  \\ \longrightarrow \sf \:m_1 =  \frac{2.5}{100}  \\  \\ \longrightarrow \sf \:m_1 = 0.025kg
