a bullet leaves the barrel of a gun with a velocity of 60 metre per second if the barrel of the gun is 150 cm long find the average acceleration of the bullet inside barrel​

Answer: average acceleration of the bullet inside barrel​ is  1200 m/s^{2} .

Explanation:

Given velocity , v=60m/s

initial velocity , u=0m/s

Length of barrel ,s=150cm=1.5m

Therefore average velocity

Vav = \frac{v+u}{2} = \frac{60+0}{2} = 30 m/s

& from equation of motion ,we have

V^{2} = V^{2} + 2as

Acceleration, a = \frac{v^{2}-u^{2}  }{2s}

                          = \frac{60^{2} }{2 X 1.5}

                          =  1200 m/s^{2}
