Answer :-

Given :-

  • Initial velocity = 35 m/s
  • Displacement = 3.5 m
  • Final velocity = 0

To Find :-

  • Uniform retardation

Solution :-

Here, we are given displacement, initial velocity and final velocity. So, by substituting the value in 3rd equation of motion, we can find the retardation.

⇒ v² = u² + 2as

⇒ 0 = (35)² + 2 ( 3.5 ) a

⇒ 1225 = -7 a

⇒ a = - 1225 / 7

⇒ a = - 175

Retardation of bullet = 175 m/s²

Answer:

a=-175

Explanation:

u = 35mpers

s = 3.5m

v = 0

Now we should apply formula v square= u square +2as

0=35whole square +2(3.5)a

1225=-7a=-175
