Solution:-
Final velocity=0
Initial Velocity=20m/s
Time =10cm=1/10m

By using equation:-
 =  >  {v}^{2}  =  {u}^{2}  + 2as \\  =  > a =  \frac{( {v}^{2}  -  {u}^{2}) }{2 \times s }
 =  > a =  \frac{0 - 400}{2 \times  \frac{1}{10} }
 =  > a =  \frac{ - 400 \times 10}{2}  \\  =  > a =  - 2000
So,
Acceleration= -2000m/s^2
Retardation=2000m/s^2

Muskan1101: welcome :)
aditprasad2410: The answer is correct but a small mistake
aditprasad2410: t is not 10 m ,s is 10 m
