according to rule of moment conservation

m1v1=m2v2 -------------------eq1

if the velocity of the 20kg mass is zero than

moment befor hitting the object =m1v1

= 0.02kg*150m/s -------------eq2

lets assume the return speed of the bullet is Vr

than moment after hitting the object= m2V2

= 0.02kg*Vr m/s -------------eq3

using eq 1,2,3

0.02kg*150m/s=0.02kg*Vr m/s

Vr= 150 m/s

means return speed of the bullet is 150 m/s
