Mass of Gun (M) = 10 kg

Mass of Bullet (m) = 0.4 kg

Velocity of bullet (v) = 200 m/s

Velocity of Gun (V) = ?

Now,

=> MV = -mv

=> 10V = -(0.4 x 200)

=> V = -(0.4 x 200/10) m/s

=> V = -80/10 m/s

=> V = -8 m/s
