Given ,
m=10gm
F=100N=0.01kgf
u=0
v=?
d=8cm
F=ma
a=F/m
a=0.01/10
a=1/100*10
a=0.001m/s^2
Therefore, v^2-u^2=2as
v^2-(0)^2=2*0.001*8
v^2=0.016
v=√0.016
v=0.12m/s

Distance,s = 8 cm = 0.08 m

u =?

v=0

force,F = -100N

mass= 10 gm = 0.01 kg

By 2nd law of motion

F=ma

-100=0.01×a

-100/0.01= a

a = -10000 m/s^2

By equation,

v^2-u^2=2as

0-u^2 =2×-10000×0.08

-u^2 = - 1600

u=40 m /s
