Mass=10 gram=10/1000 kg =1/100 kg

Time=0.004 secs

v=400m/s

So, As we know that Force = Mass × Acceleration => mass × v-u/t

=>Force = 1/100 × 400-0/0.004 N

=>Force = 1000 N

Hence,Force applied by the rifle on the bullet is 10 Newton's.
