➡To find the recoil velocity of the gun.
Given ,
Mass of bullet (m) = 10 gm
Change it into S.I unit..
= 10/1000
= 0.01 Kg..
Velocity of the bullet (v) = 400m/s
Mass of the gun (M) = 4 kg
We know that the recoil velocity of the gun (V) ,
= (-m/M) * v
= (-0.01/4) * 400
= -0.01 * 100
= -1 m/s....
