According to Newtons third law - Law of conservation of linear momentum
Total momentum before firing = Total momentum after firing
0 = mv -MV [-ve since the velocities are in opposite direction]
mv = MV
[100 ˣ 0.001] kg ˣ 100 = M ˣ 0.5
M =20kg
