The speed with which the bullet emerges out of the block is 0 m/s .

Mass of bullet , m = 10 gm = 0.01 kg .

Speed of bullet , u = 200 m/s .

Thickness of block , d = 0.5 m .

Resistive force , F = 200 N .

We know , F = ma

a=\dfrac{F}{m}\\\\a=\dfrac{200}{0.01}\\\\a=2\times 10^4\ m/s^2

Applying equation of motion .

v^2-u^2=2as\\\\v^2-200^2=-2\times 2\times 10^4\times 0.5\\\\v^2=200^2-200^2\\\\v=0\ m/s\\

Hence , this is the required solution .
