a bullet of mass 200g travelling horizontally with a velocity of 150m/s strike a stationary wooden block and come to rest in •03 second calculate the magnitudeof the force exerted by the wooden block on the bullet

m=0.2kg
u = 150 m/s
v=0
t = 0.03 sec


( 1.) a = v-u/t
=(0-150) / 0.03
= - 5000m/s

then find magnitude
we use to find magnitude



F=m×a
= 0.2×(-5000)
= -1000 N

:. magnitude of force = 1000 N
