A bullet of mass 20g is fired horizontally with the velocity of 159m/s. from pistol of mass 2kg . Find the recoil velocity of pistol

mass = 20 g = 2/100 kg

V = - m x v / M

= - 2/100 x 159 / 2
= - 1.59 m/s

velocity of bullet=159m/s
mass of gun=2kg=2000g
recoil velocity=?
{formula = mass of gun *recoil velocity of gun=mass of bullet*velocity of bullet}
2000g*x=20*159
2000x=3180
x=3180/2000=1.59m/s
