a bullet of mass 25g traveling with velocity of 500m/s strikes a target which it penetrate . the velocity of emergence of the bullet is 100m/s . what was the energy spent in passing through the target ?

energy spent
=1/2*m*(V1 squared -V2squared)
=1/2*25/1000*(250000-100000)
=1/2*25/1000*150000
=75*25=1875J
