Answer:

\huge\underline\orange{\mathcal Answer}

\huge\underline{\mathcal Given}

Bullet :-

Mass = 30 g => 0.03 kg

Velocity = 400 m/s

Wooden Block :-

Mass = 470 g + 0.03 kg (bullet is embedded )

Mass = 0.47 kg + 0.03 kg

\huge{\boxed{\mathcal Mass=0.5kg}}

Velocity = v

We know that :-

Momentum of Bullet = recoil momentum of gun

0.03 × 400 = 0.5 × v

12 = 0.5 v

\huge{\boxed{\mathcal v = 24ms-1}}
