A bullet of mass 30 gram and moving with velocity x the wooden target with a force of 187. 5 Newton if the bullet penetrates 80 CM then find the value of x

Acceleration of bullet = F / m
= 187.5 N / (30 gram × 10^-3 kg / gram)
= 6250 m/s²

Now, use equation of motion, v² - u² = 2aS
Final velocity is zero
Initial velocity is x
Acceleration is negative

x = √(2aS)
= √(2 × 6250 m/s² × 80 cm × 10^-2 m/cm)
= 100 m/s

Value of x is 100 m/s
