- Velocity of bullet(v) = 120m/s
- Momentum of bullet = m*v = 30*120 gm/s = 3600 m/s
- Mass of gun(M) = 2 kg = 2000 g
- According to law of conservation of momentum,
- m*v = -M*V
- =>V = (m*v)/-M
- =>V = -3600/2000
- =>V = -1.8 m/s
