Final velocity= 0m/s

Distance penetrate inside the block= 10cm = 0.1m

Let acceleration be a

Now,

From the 3rd law of motion we know that,

2as = v²-u²

=>2×a×0.1=0²-100²

=>0.2a=-10000

=>a. =10000×10/2

=>a. = 50000

Hence,the acceleration of the bullet is 50000m/sec²

Now,

As we know that,

F=ma

So,

F=0.5×50000

= 25000N
