a bullet of mass 5kg is traveling horizontally with a velocity of 150m/s strikes a stationary wooden block and comes to restin 0.003s .calculate the acceleration produced and magnitude of the force exerted by the wooden blocks on the bullet​

velocity :- 150 m/s

time taken :- 0.003sec

Required acceleration :-

velocity \div time

so, 150m/s ÷ 0.003 s

so, 50,000 m/s².

Again ,

Force = mass × acceleration

= 5 kg × 50000m/s²

= 250000 kg-m/s²

=. 250000 N. (Ans)
