K.E.= 1/2 mv square

8 g=0.008 kg

K.E.= 1/2* 0.008* (80)Square

=    25.6 kgm/s

Hope it helps!!!!

Given :

Mass of the bullet (M) = 8 gm = 8 × 10⁻³ Kg

Velocity (V) = 80 m/sec

To Find :

Kinetic energy of the bullet

Solution :

The ability of a body to do work due to its speed alone is called Kinetic Energy.

Kinetic Energy (KE) = \frac{1}{2}mv^2

Where, m = Mass; v = Velocity of the bullet

∴ Kinetic Energy (KE) =  \frac{1}{2}×8×10⁻³×(80)²
                                   =  25600 × 10⁻³ J

                                   =  25.6 J

Therefore, the kinetic energy of the bullet is 25.6 J.
