Impulse applied , I = 50 N s .

Final speed of bullet , v = 0 m/s .

To Find :

The mass of bullet .

Solution :

We know , impulse applied is equal to decrease in momentum .

Therefore , I=mv-mu

Putting all given values in above equation , we get :

50=m\times 500-m\times0\\\\m=\dfrac{50}{500}\\\\m=0.1 kg

Therefore , mass of bullet is 0.1 kg or 100 g .
