A bullet weighing 10g is fired with a velocity of 800m/s after passing through a mud wall 1m thick it's velocity decreases to 100m/s find the average resistance offred by mud wall

u=800m/s v=100m/s m=10g=0.01kg S=1m

v^2 - u^2 = 2aS

10000 - 640000 = 2a

-630000÷2 = a

a= -315000m/s^2

resistance offered = ma = 0.01 ×-315000 = -3150N
