Given ;

radius (r) = 1.4m

Thus circumference (c) :

c \:  = 2 \times \pi \times r

 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{14}{10}

 = 2 \times \frac{22}{1}  \times  \frac{2}{10}

 =  \frac{88}{10} m

Given;

total distance (D) = 11km

= 11 × 1000 = 11000m

Thus total number of revolutions (R) :

R =  \frac{D}{c}  \\  =  \frac{11000}{ \frac{88}{10} }  \\  =  \frac{11000 \times 10}{88}  \\  =  \frac{11 \times 10000}{88}  \\  =  \frac{1 \times 10000}{8}  \\   =  \frac{10000}{8}  = 1250 \: revolutions

Thus the wheel rotates 1250 times to cover 11km of distance.
