A burning piece of charcoal stops burning after sometime when it is covered by a glass jar. Give reason

Answer:

After covering it with a glass jar, the charcoal uses all the oxygen in that jar but when it seems to be finished, as only oxygen can support combustion which is used up, it stops burning.
