For calculating acceleration, velocities should be in m/s

18km/hr =

18 \times  \frac{5}{18}  = 5
5m/s

36km/hr =
36 \times  \frac{5}{18}  = 10
10m/s

a =
 \frac{v - u}{t}  \\
v = final velocity = 10m/s
u = initial velocity = 5m/s
t = time = 10s
a = acceleration

so acceleration =
 \frac{10 - 5}{10}  \\  =  \frac{5}{10}  = 0.5

acceleration is 0.5 m/s²

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️

first covert into m per seconds so

using v= u+at
