Answer:

given,

initial speed - 18 km/h - u

final speed - 36 km/h - v

time taken - 10 s - t

we know,

a = v - u / t

  = 36 - 18 / 10

  = 18 / 10

∴ a = 1.8 m/s²

u= 18 km/hr=18*1000/3600=5 m/s

v= 36 km/hr=36*1000/3600=10 m/s.

t=10 secs.

a/c to the formula,

v= u+at

=>10=5+a*10

=>10-5=10a

=>10a=5

=>a=5/10

so,a=0.5 m/s^2
