Given : A bus can carry 55 passengers

Such 4 buses were arranged for 228 passengers

To find :  number of passengers will not get seat

Solution:

A bus can carry 55 passengers

Available buses = 4

Hence 4 Buses can carry passengers = 4 *  55

=>4 Buses can carry passengers = 220

Total Passengers = 228

number of passengers will not get seat  = Total Passengers -  4 Buses can carry passengers

=> number of passengers will not get seat  = 228 - 220

=>  number of passengers will not get seat  =  8

Hence 8   passengers will not get seat
