time-8 whole 3 upon 4 = 35 upon 4

speed

speed = distance upon time

solution

2245/6 ÷ 35/4

2245/6 × 4/35

time \:  = 8 \times \frac{3}{4}  \: h \:  =  \frac{35}{4}  \: h \:

average \: speed \:  =  \frac{total \: distance \: }{total \: time}

 =  \frac{2245}{6 \:  } km \:  \div  \frac{35}{4}  \: h \:  =  \frac{2245}{6}  \:  \times  \frac{4}{35}  \: km / h

 =  \frac{898}{21}  \: km / h \:  = 42 \times \frac{16}{21} km /h
