3hrs 20 mins = 3  1/3 hour.
speed = 45km/h.
∴distance=45×10/3
=15×10=150km.
Now speed = 36km/h.
distance=150km.
∴time= 150/36
=25/6
= 4hrs and 10 mins.

hope it helps and pls mark this as best answer.

Answer:

4.167 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A bus covers a certain distance in 3 hour 20 minutes at an average speed of 45 km/h.

To Find : How long will it take to cover the same distance at a speed of 36 km/h?

Solution:

Let the distance be x

Time = 3 hours 20 minutes =3+\frac{20}{60}=\frac{10}{3} hours

Speed = 45 km/hr

Distance = Speed \times Time

x = 45 \times \frac{10}{3}

x = 150

So, The distance is 150 km

Now we are supposed to find How long will it take to cover the same distance at a speed of 36 km/h

Speed = 36 km/hr

Distance= 150 km

Time = \frac{Distance}{Speed}

Time = \frac{150}{36}

Time = 4.167

So, It will take 4.167 hours to cover the same distance at a speed of 36 km/h
