A bus covers a certain distance in 3 hours 20 minutes at an average speed of 45km/h. How long will it take to cover the same distance at a speed of 36 km /h?

i)Let the certain distance be x

Time=3hours.20/60=3.3hours

Average speed=Distance/Time

45=x/3.3

45/×3.3=x

x=148.5

ii)Average speed=36Km/h

Distance/Time(t)=36

148.5/t=36

t=36/148.5

t=0.24hour

Answer=14 minutes 24 seconds
